CEREC Single Visit Crowns in Henderson, NV
Restore Your Smile in One Day
Damaged or decayed teeth can make simple tasks such as chewing and speaking much more difficult. Patients may also experience difficulty taking pride in their smiles. Dental crowns can help patients restore their healthy smiles and give their confidence a boost.
At Green Valley Dental, Dr. Dadon-Harris is proud to offer same-day crowns with our advanced CEREC technology. In just one appointment, you can receive durable, natural-looking crowns. Read on to learn more about dental crowns and how you can benefit.
What Are Dental Crowns?
Dental crowns are customized caps placed over the entire tooth’s surface to restore its function and appearance. They provide coverage above the gum line and can protect the tooth from decay and cavities. Dr. Dadon-Harris will ensure your crown matches the shape, size, and color of your natural teeth for a comfortable fit and seamless appearance.
When Are Dental Crowns Necessary?
Dr. Dadon-Harris may recommend dental crowns for patients whose teeth are:
- Cracked, chipped, or broken
- Severely decayed
- Treated with root canal therapy
- Crooked or misshapen
- Stained or discolored
While dental crowns are a great restorative solution, they’re reserved for teeth with specific problems. You may benefit from other treatments, such as fillings, rather than a crown. Dr. Dadon-Harris will determine which treatment is right for you at your initial consultation.
Benefits of Same-Day Dental Crowns
Traditional dental crown methods require waiting on your crowns to arrive from a dental lab. However, with our CEREC (Chair-side Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramic) technology, you can receive your customized restoration the same day. Some other benefits of this treatment include:
- Fewer dental appointments
- No need for an uncomfortable temporary crown
- Improved appearance and function of your smile in just one day
- Minimally invasive procedure
- Made from durable and long-lasting material
- Customized to match the shape, color, and size of your teeth
Same-Day Crowns With CEREC
Creating Your Crowns
You’ll first have an initial consultation with Dr. Dadon-Harris, where she’ll perform a thorough evaluation of your teeth and oral health to determine if crowns are right for you.
If approved, she’ll begin the procedure by cleaning the targeted tooth and removing any plaque and decayed tissue. She’ll also shape your tooth by removing some of the enamel so your crown will fit snugly.
Once the tooth has been prepared, Dr. Dadon-Harris will use CEREC technology to take a digital image of your mouth. This eliminates the need for messy impressions and gives Dr. Dadon-Harris a comprehensive view of your teeth to best create your restoration.
Placing Your Crowns
With CEREC, you won’t have to wait for our Henderson office to receive your crowns from a lab. Utilizing our CEREC Cad-Cam unit, we can design and mill your crown immediately following the preparation of your tooth.
We can create your restorations in-office so you can enjoy a restored smile the same day. It’ll take about four to 20 minutes for the machine to create your crowns.
After your restoration is complete, Dr. Dadon-Harris will use a dental composite to affix the crown to your tooth. She’ll make any necessary adjustments to ensure it fits comfortably and naturally. To finish the procedure, Dr. Dadon-Harris will apply a polish to your restorations. You’re then ready to leave our Henderson office with a beautiful and functional smile!

Typically, it takes a few days to recover from receiving crowns, but this varies depending on several factors, such as your oral health. During this time, you can use over-the-counter pain relievers to alleviate any discomfort or swelling.
